The Special Needs and Disability Steering Committee of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (MassNAELA) is excited to announce the release of the third edition of the Special Needs and Disability Law Toolkit. Originally written for the non-attorney, the toolkit is an excellent general resource for all attorneys, their clients, potential clients, and the disability community. Topics include general advocacy goals; education, medical and financial advocacy; medical insurance; state and federal disability-related cash benefits; and housing. The toolkit also provides an extensive list of resources in the categories of legal assistance, advocacy organizations, and government agencies. To access an electronic copy of the third edition of the toolkit, along with short summary videos, click the link below.

The Special Needs Advocacy Toolkit is available for download to the public:  Special Needs Advocacy Toolkit

Many thanks to all of the contributors and proofreaders that have volunteered their time to complete this project.
